Project Overview

Roof leakage, concrete cracking, steel corrosion, etc. appeared on the reinforced concrete floor.


Cause Analysis

During construction, the concrete protective layer was thin and the ground waterproof quality was not up to standard, resulting in different degrees of leakage in the indoor ceiling, and corrosion of the steel bar surface at the weakest part of the concrete protective layer. Due to the volumetric expansion of rust, pressure is generated on the surrounding concrete, which will cause the concrete to crack along the direction of the steel bars, and then the protective layer will fall off in pieces, and the cracks and the peeling of the protective layer will further cause more severe corrosion of the steel bars.

Conclusion

The ground was waterproofed, the floor leakage problem was solved from the source, and the water source needed to cause steel corrosion to be cut off. The low slab was treated with grouting glue, the concrete protective layer was repaired, and the durability of the floor slab was guaranteed. Making full use of the advantages of carbon fiber reinforcement technology, under the condition of very tight construction period, the problem floor slab was reinforced in time, which solved the problem of floor slab strength reduction caused by the corrosion of floor slab reinforcement and the falling of protective layer. The floor strength can be supplemented in time, the toilet function is restored, and the service life of the building is prolonged.
