Because of the modification of the function, the load of reinforced concrete is increased, and the original section and reinforcement are not satisfied with the demand. In order to meet the functional requirements of layout, reinforcement is needed. According to the analysis, it is reasonable to use carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) wrap to reinforce beams, plates and columns. 


1. It is useful to use carbon fiber sheet to enhance the bearing capacity of reinforced concrete flexural members. When the carbon fiber sheet is put on, the bending capacity of the experimental beam is obviously improved. The calculation method of CFRP reinforced concrete beams is reliable and safe, and can satisfy the needs of Engineering description.


2. When the carbon fiber sheet is used to reinforce the reinforced concrete beam, the uniform strain of the section still agrees with the plane section assumption.


3. After the carbon fiber sheet is posted at the bottom of the concrete beam, the stiffness of the member increases and the deflection decreases. The experimental loading indicates that when the concrete beam is loaded to the standard value, the measured deflection is far less than the allowable deflection.


4. The cracks of concrete beams strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced plastic sheets are relatively late. Under the normal loading effect, the width of cracks decreases and even cracks do not appear.
