Project overview

This project uses the carbon fiber reinforced polymer fabric on the local beam and stair slab structure. With the tensile strength of carbon fiber fabric and carbon fiber epoxy adhesive as composite reinforced sheet. Formation of a new complex, which enhances the patch and the original reinforced concrete joint force, increasing the structural tension and shear capacity, ductility and strength, stiffness, crack resistance of the structure.


Quality assurance measures

1), for concrete engineering, it should be vibrated and compacted, the surface layer is flat, the mortar mixing is strictly in accordance with the design ratio, and the phenomenon of material stealing is eliminated.


2), externally bonded carbon fiber reinfroced polymer fabric : the lap length of carbon fiber cloth along the direction of fiber should not be less than 100mm. Sticking carbon fiber cloth should avoid obstacles as far as possible. If the obstacles that cannot be cleared should be cut off, they should be properly dealt with at the truncated part. The specific measures should be decided according to different circumstances.


3) reliable guarantee of carbon fiber materials. Carbon fiber sheet has excellent mechanical properties. It is inextricably linked to its material properties and wafer processing technology.


Inspection and acceptance of finished project

1), when the project is accepted, it must have the proof of the material inspection provided by the carbon fiber and its supporting adhesive manufacturers.


2), the end of each procedure after the inspection must be done according to the process requirements, on-site inspection and make relevant acceptance, after the end of construction to evaluate the bond quality between CFRP and concrete, with a small hammer gently tap the surface of carbon fiber cloth, with the echo to judge the bonding effect, such as recorded, such as quality problems, should immediately rework.


3), if the carbon cloth and concrete are not stickable, it should be remedied by the method of injection of glue. If the adhesive area is less than 90%, it is determined that the bond is not effective and needs to be rebuilt.
