Project Overview

The left and right sides of the bridge were built in stages, while the right side was built in the early 1970s, with a combined span of I-beams and T-beams.


Around the 1990s, with the development of regional economy, traffic flow continued to increase, and the original designed capacity of bridges could not meet the needs, gradually becoming a bottleneck restricting traffic development. Therefore, a widening project will be implemented on the left side of the existing bridge. The main beam of the widened bridge will be a T-beam, and the bridge span will be consistent with the original bridge. The pedestrian walkway and railing system on the left side of the original bridge will be removed, and the left side of the widened bridge will be rebuilt. The carriageway will also adopt a two-way cross slope and a single curved linear road arch.


This reinforcement and renovation is mainly aimed at the old bridge, requiring reinforcement and upgrading.


Analysis of Main Diseases and Causes of Bridges

The old bridge of Bridge has undergone varying degrees of damage due to its long construction and disrepair; At the same time, due to poor management of archival materials, it is not possible to know the details of design and construction. However, from the on-site investigation of the bridge, it can be seen that there are mainly the following disease phenomena: cracks, insufficient bearing capacity
