Shear Wall Reinforced With Carbon Fiber

The concrete strength is inconsistent with the designed concrete strength, and the areas where the concrete strength is insufficient are reinforced. The reinforcement method is carbon fiber reinforcement.

Shear Wall Reinforced With Carbon Fiber

The 6th floor of the project above-ground 3-5 axis C-C/1 axis shear wall measured concrete number C34, design concrete number C45. After calculating the concrete label of this section according to the actual measured value, the actual reinforcement amount of the shear wall in this section is slightly insufficient compared with the calculated reinforcement amount due to the reduction of the concrete label. Therefore, the shear wall of this part is reinforced by pasting unidirecional carbon fiber sheet.

This project uses 300g/m2 carbon fiber sheet produced by HORSE Construction. The carbon fiber sheet with extremely high tensile strength is pasted on the structure to be reinforced with an epoxy resin adhesive to form a new composite body. Make the reinforced patch and the original concrete bear the force together, increase the tensile and shear resistance of the structure, improve the strength rigidity, crack resistance and ductility.

Construction process:

Concrete surface cleaning → carbon fiber sheet cutting → carbon fiber bonding and extrusion configuration → gluing → pasting carbon fiber sheet → pasting carbon fiber layering → pasting coarse sand
