Beam and slab strengthening

The building is a nine storey concrete frame structure, and the reinforcement method of 1 to nine layer structure is reinforced by external bonded steel members, reinforcement by external bonded carbon fiber reinfroced polymer(CFRP) fabric and post installed anchor by injectable adhesive anchor.

1. The general situation of Architectural Design:

The outer wall of the building has been renovated for glass curtain wall, and the interior wall is not yet decorated. The basement height is 3.70M, the first layer is 4.80m, the height of two to five layers is 4.50M, the six layer is 5.00m, and the height of seven to nine layers is 3.40M; the span is mainly 6.50m, 7.50m, 9.00m and 12.00m. The depth span is mainly 6.50m, 6.80m, 7.00m and the whole building in semi decoration.

3.Labor arrangement

According to the scale of the reinforcement and renovation project and the agreement of the contract period, 25 technicians and 20 ordinary workers are equipped to take part in the construction of the reinforcement project, which are arranged as follows:

  • The original repair layer of the reinforced part is chiseled and cleaned.

  • The reinforcement parts of the original structure concrete surface are ground and corrected to achieve the ideal reinforcement and bonding surface.

  • Steel plate rust removal treatment.

  • The slab is reinforced with carbon fiber sheet(CFRP sheet).

  • Beams and slabs are strengthened with steel plates.

  • Post installed rebar.

  • Steel wire mesh for steel structure.
