Retrofitting the weakened section of beam-column by carbon fiber fabric

Carbon fiber fabric and structural adhesive are used to reinforce the beam-column components. CFRP has high tensile strength and good durability. It can improve the ductility of columns, improve the bending resistance of beams and plates, and enhance the shear capacity of beams and columns.

1. Description of concrete defects:

The five column of the original residential area in the beam column node area is smaller than 60mm because of the smaller beam section, cause the column section to be small 60mm, as shown in the figure

  • 1 layers of steel wire netting with anchors on the surface of a beam defect

  • Filling the defect of beam with C25 concrete

  • surface treatment
