Project overivew

The factory builing was built in 1990s. It is a multi-storey reinforced concrete frame structure. The main building has four stories, other is five stories, and a building area of 6000 m2.

Because of the need of technical transformation, the factory should hang the bridge type electric hoist on the roof frame beam. The original roof beam is verified by the reliability. Now the structural bearing capacity is not satisfied with the requirement of transformation, so carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) is used to reinforce the roof frame beam.


Selection of reinforcement schemes

In the selection of the strengthening scheme, the environment of the workshop is narrow and the workshops must be reinforced without stopping production, and the production environment must be kept clean, and the dust and sundries must not be dropped on the upper part. The floor of the workshop is higher and can be operated on the above floor. Only by selecting all the reinforcement operations on it can we ensure that it is carried out without stopping production, so carbon fiber reinforcement scheme is preferred. This scheme uses less material, simple equipment, no wet operation, construction and protection. The weight can meet the load requirement of the hanger. Moreover, the construction protection work is easy to achieve, which can meet the normal production environment and clean and clean requirements in the workshop.
